Moderated by Jeremy Belsky CAP, this one hour program will review ethics associated with charitable advising within estate plans, and is designed for life insurance professionals, financial planners, attorneys, trust officers and accountants whose clients’ estate plans include charitable gifts. Content includes conflicts of interest, rules of professional conduct, donor competency, gift restrictions and the Donors Bill of Rights. A panel of philanthropic advisors, including CK Duryea JD CAP, Howard Epstein JD CAP and Steven Scholer JD CAP will weigh in on presented cases.
(This program is approved for 1 hour of Ethics CE for Nebraska insurance, legal and accounting, and 1 hour of general CFP credit).
