March Luncheon
You won’t want to miss this program!
This month, we have the privilege of hosting NAEPC President-Elect, Paul S. Viren, CLU®, ChFC®, AEP®. Paul will provide an update on the ‘happenings’ at the national level, before presenting:
“Beneficiary Designations – How to get back at your family!”
11:15 AM - Check-In and Networking
11:30 AM – Lunch
12:00 PM - Meeting & Program
Overview – Beneficiary designations are scattered throughout our lives. We sign forms and applications throughout our lives for everything from our employee life insurance, IRA account forms, pension plans from employers and many others. We list the persons we love at the time such as parents before we were married, former spouses, charities and never think to go back to correct or update these for the present list of loved ones. This presentation is to bring to the attention of all practitioners the need to collect and update the beneficiary information for our client’s policies and other non-probate assets. We will also look at language that can be used in naming non-person beneficiaries such as testamentary trusts.
Attendees will earn one hour of CE credit for NE Life Insurance, CLE, CPE, CFP and PACE (pending approvals).
Please register online by clicking on the RSVP link below, or contact Council Administrator, Stacie Sarasio at Stacie@OmahaEstate.org or 402.210.9446.
